A Legacy of Love: Reflections from Our African Tour ❤️‍🔥

Zambia. Zimbabwe. Burundi. Kenya. Four nations, sixteen days, and countless stories of God's love at work.

Wow. What a time we had on the African Tour!

As I sit and reflect on everything we witnessed across Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya, I am filled with gratitude. Gratitude for what God did, gratitude for the incredible people we had the privilege of serving alongside, and gratitude for every person who prayed, gave, and stood with us throughout the journey.

This trip was powerful, fruitful, intense, and life-changing. And while there is so much I could share, I want to take you into a little of what we experienced and why these Leaders Schools matter so deeply to us.

Four Nations. One Mission. A Legacy of Love.

Before anything else, I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who supported us through prayer, generosity, and encouragement.

Some of you followed our schedule so closely, sent daily messages, and prayed for us as we travelled from nation to nation. I wish you could know how much that meant to us on the field.

You were truly part of this journey. We couldn't have done it without you.

Here's a glimpse of what the tour looked like:

4 countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe, Burundi, and Kenya.

14 flights.

16 days in Africa.

50 sessions.

21 team members.

Hundreds of people impacted.

Many physical healings.

Even more heart healings.

Jesus was made known.

And this is just a glimpse of what we witnessed.

Across two-day events in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Burundi, and a four-day event in Kenya, we saw pastors and leaders equipped through teaching on the Father's heart, healing the sick, hearing God's voice, and so much more.

We witnessed people hear the voice of God for the first time. We saw people discover the unconditional love of the Father. We watched as believers stepped out in faith, prayed for those who were sick, and experienced God's power at work through them.

Some moments were joyful. Some were deeply moving. Some are difficult to put into words.

But these are the moments that stay with you.

Equipping the Local Church

At the heart of these Leaders Schools is a simple but powerful vision: to empower and equip local pastors and leaders so they can continue reaching their churches, communities, and nations.

We don't simply want to bring something to a nation and leave.

We want to see local leaders strengthened, equipped, and encouraged to carry these values forward in their own communities. We want to see churches walking in the love of God, growing in their understanding of the Father's heart, and becoming places where people encounter Jesus and experience His love.

And what an honour it was to serve alongside our incredible brothers and sisters in Christ across Africa.

These leaders already carry a love for their people and a desire to see their communities transformed. Our role is to come alongside them, serve them, learn from them, and share what we have received.

We pray that what was shared during these days will continue to bear fruit long after our teams have returned home.

That the love of the Father will spread through churches, communities, and nations.

That leaders will continue to equip others.

And that a legacy of love will continue to grow across Africa.

A Story of Forgiveness and Healing in Burundi

One moment that really stood out to me happened during our time in Burundi, in a session on healing the sick.

Faustin, one of our Zambian pastors, delivered a fantastic message on praying for the sick. Then came the ministry time.

A man on crutches came forward. He was in incredible pain and had struggled to get help.

When I asked him what had happened, he shared that someone had thrown a grenade, and he had been caught in the explosion. He was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Our team and local believers gathered around him to pray.

After praying for a little while, I paused and asked him whether he had forgiven the man who had thrown the grenade.

He looked at me, bewildered, and said that he didn't know the man.

I shared that forgiveness wasn't dependent on knowing the person, and I felt that the Lord was inviting him to release forgiveness.

I led him through a prayer of forgiveness.

And suddenly, his whole body began trembling.

He was shaking so intensely that we had to help him move from standing to sitting. He described feeling power moving through his leg and experiencing the peace and presence of the Holy Spirit in a tangible way.

He felt significant relief in that moment, although he didn't experience complete healing then and there.

We encouraged the church to keep praying for him.

And then, on the day we left Burundi, I received a message from the pastor.

The man had testified that all the pain in his leg had gone!

Praise God! 🙌

I loved that this testimony came after we had left, because it was such a beautiful reminder of what we long to see: the local church equipped and encouraged to pray for the sick, believe God, and continue ministering to the people in their communities.

We may travel to a nation for a few days, but the local church is there every day.

They are the ones continuing to serve, love, pray, and walk alongside their communities.

And that is what makes this work so meaningful.

More Than a Trip

When you look at the schedule, the numbers, and the many flights, it would be easy to describe the African Tour as a busy missions trip.

And it certainly was busy!

The schedule was intense. There were flights, sessions, travel days, ministry opportunities, and plenty of moments when we had to keep moving.

But missions is about so much more than the schedule.

It's about people.

It's about the pastor who is encouraged and equipped to serve their church.

It's about the person who discovers that the Father loves them unconditionally.

It's about the believer who learns to hear God's voice and begins to step out in faith.

It's about the local church being strengthened to reach its community.

It's about Jesus being made known.

And it's about the relationships built along the way.

We don't know everything that will come from these days. We don't know every life that will be touched or every story that will unfold in the months and years ahead.

But we trust that the seeds sown will continue to bear fruit.

Thank You for Being Part of the Journey

The African Tour was full-on, with an intense schedule, but we saw the mighty hand of God touching lives, healing hearts, and extending His Kingdom.

And you were part of it.

To everyone who prayed, gave, encouraged us, and followed along: thank you.

Thank you for every prayer, every message, and every seed sown into this mission.

Your generosity helps make these trips possible. Your prayers strengthen us in the field. And together, we get to play a part in seeing nations filled with churches walking in God's love and giving it away.

This is a global family on mission.

We may be in different nations, speak different languages, and serve in different ways, but we get to be part of the same beautiful story: seeing the love of God reach the nations.
